The Samsung Galaxy A5 is an Android smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics. It was introduced on December 2, 2015 .

Design:

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) has an aluminium and glass body,the A5 (2016) has a larger 5.2-inch display and screen as compared to the 5-inch display of predecessor Galaxy A5. The phone is very attractive and have a great display.The A5 (2016)’s display is protected and covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, also on the back side of the phone.

Software:

The Samsung Galaxy A5 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.Samsung has released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update and it can upgraded to any android version.

Hardware:

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) system-on chip is Exynos 7580, which is a 64-bit Octa Core 1.6 GHz Exynos 7 SoC processor.The smartphone has a 2 GB RAM and of 16 GB UFS 2.0 internal storage, with support removable MicroSD cards of up to 128 GB.

When it comes to the software side of things, Samsung is yet to roll out the Marshmallow update to its phones, and as such the Galaxy A5 and A7 come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. Samsung’s continuing to partner with Bill gates-Microsoft when it comes to pre-installed apps and softwares, with both phones offering Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Skype and many more. We’ll talk about the real-world performance in the review, but as of now, the Galaxy A7 and A5 do not present any problems and do not make any problem in future.

The first-generation Galaxy A series was targeted at emerging markets, and Samsung is continuing the trend with this year’s refresh. The Galaxy A5 and A7 are available in India for ₹29,400 ($433) and ₹33,400 ($492). Samsung also launched the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A9 with a massive 6-inch display in China, and as of now there’s no mention as to when these phones will be available in other markets.
